School Board in the management of school

The aim of this thesis was to determine to what extent and in what areas the school board controls affects the work of the school principal. The operational objective was to specify the problematic areas of the relationship from the perspective of the school principal and suggest how their effects mitigated or eliminated. Respondents of empirical research using questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were directors of elementary and secondary schools, established by the Central Bohemia Region. The aim of the research was to obtain the most comprehensive description of the relationship between the school board and school management system. The results of the survey can be used in particular to seek ways and other opportunities for cooperation between the school principal and the school board so that their actions helped to improve the quality of management of the school principal. They can also be used as a basis for more efficient operation of the School Board itself. The survey results can be used and founder of the school as an oportunity to improve the working conditions of school management. The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of setting up school councils in elementary schools. Respondents of empirical research were directors of complete primary schools in the Hradec Králové Region. In particular, the results of the survey can be used to find possibilities for cooperation between the principal and the school council, so that its activities can help to the overall development of the educational process in the given school. As a basis for reflection, it can serve all stakeholders, i.e. school management, pedagogical staff, founders, and last but not least parents. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to find out to what extent and in what areas the school council influences the management of the principal. The partial aim was to specify the problematic areas of the relationship from the point of view of the principal and to suggest how to mitigate or eliminate their effects. Respondents of the empirical research were founders' deputies of complete primary schools in Hradec Kralove Region and chairpeople of their school council.In particular, the results of the survey can be used to find possibilities for cooperation between the principal and the school council, so that its activities can help to the overall development of the educational process in the given school. As a basis for reflection, it can serve all stakeholders, i.e. school management, pedagogical staff, founders, and last but not least parents. The aim of this thesis is to find out which with the law given competencies of school councils the founders concider to be the most important and the most useful during keeping and managing their schools. The partial aim wants to verify if the founders' opinion is the same with chairpeople's opinion in the school council. Irena Lhotková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The object of my dissertation "The effective communication between the school management and the school board" is to analyze the ways of communication between the members of school boards and school management. The goal is to find out which ways of communication areostly used, their positive and negative features, and the frequency and reasons of this communication between both sides. Based on the figures emerging from the research that has been carried out to design recommendations which would help to choose the appropriate form of communication and make the whole communication process easier. The theoretical part of the dissertation deals with defining of terms such as communication, communication process, types, forms and functions of communication, school board and school management. The practical part arranges the survey, carried out in the form of questionnaire, based on allegations. At the end of the thesis the recommendation for an effective communication is suggested. Factors influenting satisfaction boarders in public catering facility

The diploma thesis focuses on ascertaining the satisfaction of boarders, pupils and students of three school lunchroom in South Bohemia. Through a questionnaire, their opinions on variety, quality, atmosphere of the place and the attitude of the staff were ascertained, as was the overall satisfaction with the lunchroom. The satisfaction of boarders differs in individual aspects, in overall perspective, and it also develops in time. Mostly, the respondents were satisfied with the attitude of the staff and the variety of food in the first phase of the questionnaire. Compared to it, the variety in the second phase did not change much (it dropped slightly) and the attitude of the staff was satisfactory too. The quality of meals changed positively as did the atmosphere of the lunchroom and the overall satisfaction.
